HK Demin Festival Limited Edition. Finding the unique textile dye story that belongs to Hong Kong. Natural blue dyeing is a process that records thousands of years of history but do you know how many processes it takes to dye a denim? This workshop will offer you an unique experience of traditional "Shibori" from the Aichi-ken, Japen, and hand-dye a 50x50cm Furoshiki or an A3 bag. Through this unique experience, dyeing and textiles lovers will get to know more about the difference of natural dyeing cultures. FFrom the small steps of trying and dyeing, you can witness the transformation from turquoise to blue during the process. Participants are required to bring a 500ml plastic bottle for dyeing.
